Concepts Guide

Concepts are the foundation of your creative workflow in Reelscript. A concept represents a creative idea that can evolve from initial brainstorming through to final production.

Overview

A concept is a structured creative brief that includes:

  • Title & Description: What you're creating and why.
  • Brand: The brand identity this content belongs to.
  • Platform Formats: Target platforms (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels).
  • Status: Current stage in the workflow (Idea, Approved, In Production, etc.).
  • Storyboards: Visual sequences that bring the concept to life.

Creating Concepts

You can create concepts in two ways: manually or using AI.

1. AI-Powered "Imagine"

The fastest way to get started is to let AI generate a concept for you.

  1. Navigate to Concepts and click Imagine.
  2. Write a Prompt: Describe what you want to create. Be specific about goals, audience, and key messages.
    • Good Prompt: "Create a 30-second TikTok about our new eco-friendly water bottle for millennials. Highlight sustainable materials."
    • Weak Prompt: "Make a video about our product."
  3. Review: AI will generate a title, description, and suggest platforms.
  4. Refine: Edit any details before saving.

[!NOTE] Quota Usage: Using "Imagine" counts as 1 generation against your monthly quota.

  • Free Plan: 10 generations/month
  • Pro Plan: 100 generations/month
  • Enterprise: Unlimited

2. Manual Creation

For full control, create a concept from scratch.

  1. Click Create Concept.
  2. Fill in the Title and Description.
  3. Select the Brand.
  4. Choose Platform Formats (e.g., TikTok 9:16).
  5. Click Create.

Concept Status Workflow

Track your concepts through their lifecycle:

  1. 🔵 Idea: Initial brainstorming.
  2. ✅ Approved: Reviewed and green-lit for production.
  3. 🎬 In Production: Filming or editing is underway.
  4. 🎉 Completed: Finished and published.
  5. 📦 Archived: Saved for reference.
